LS Lowry created around 1,000 paintings and over 8,000 drawings in his lifetime. You can see many of his most iconic pictures in our Galleries, as well as other pieces we’ve borrowed from lenders. LS Lowry’s masterpiece Going to the Match has recently left its home here at The Lowry, Salford and begun a year-long tour of five North West venues. The tour started in December 2023 at Gallery.
